We stopped here for breakfast after leaving our hotel at Tikal. Cafe Los Alamos was very colourful, a feast for the senses!
The mask room was very appealing, we have a few, and I guess we could make a few more!
We also walked around the island ( it’s very small) parts of it are sinking…pallets come in very handy.
I also loved the mannequins, full sized and very colourful.
The night before we had happy hour at a hotel by the lake. We could jump off the dock and enjoy the sunset over a drink or two. Lovely!

It was so colourful! And bright…our guide, Sergio says the Guatemalans love colour, it’s a way for them to forget about their problems. I tend to agree!
