The minute we walked out of our hotel we were amused by the advertisements for food along Dotonbori. Amazing! So colourful and at times very funny. Such a lively street.

It’s so easy once you know your way around a neighbourhood, and after three days we thought we had it under control. We’re still relying on Google offline maps, and I love it when the grey dot turns blue.

I loved walking along the canals, and watching all the people posing here and there with statues, posters and each other.

The murals along the canal were great, and there is hardly any graffiti to be seen anywhere.

We spent a day wandering around town, looking for various shops and locations. After a couple of stops for sushi and beers we were glad to get back to our hotel for a rest.
