This was totally unexpected! Hurghada is located on the Red Sea. There are huge resorts along the coast and we stayed at this one!

Being budget travellers and not use to resort life, it was all a bit much when we arrived. But we very quickly got used to the “everything included” tag we have been wearing for the past two days!

The restaurant is massive and you could eat yourself to bursting point. We were happy to have plenty of fresh food to choose from, oh and an amazing array of desserts.

There is a water park, we did have a go on the blue and green slides, but once was enough.

Drinks are on the house and a few Gin and Tonics did not go astray as we relaxed by one of the many pools. We did also swim in the Red Sea, which was a beautiful aqua colour.

There were hundreds of families enjoying the many activities on offer. There were also many very sunburnt people wandering around! Lionel and I tended to stay in the shade.

Not really our cup of tea, but an interesting experience nonetheless!
