Our ten hour flight to Tokyo was one of the best we have been on. Attentive staff, comfortable seats and good food all added to the experience. Clearing customs was a breeze and being met at the airport by our guide Raj, was a bonus.
We spent the first day sightseeing with the group and visited the fish market, Tokyo Tower and the Meiji Shrine. Umbrellas everywhere and in crowded laneways it’s a challenge to walk through without a poke in the eye. Happily the rain only lasted for a while and we’ve had sunshine and breeze ever since.
