After many months of researching tours, emailing tour guides, negotiating prices (in American dollars), making numerous lists, applying for visas, booking hotels etc etc we are ready to go! Our bags are full of clothes to cater for freezing cold to extremely hot conditions (I felt like I did about ten repacks!) We fly to Beijing tomorrow, and catch the Trans Mongolian express to Ulaan Bataar next Sunday. Wifi and Facebook will be available here and there, so the blog will be published when we have access to the internet and electricity. Hope you enjoy our adventures through China, Mongolia, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan…can’t wait to get going!
