This morning before we caught the Rail Runner back to Albuquerque, Bernie and Lynne took us out to Kasha-Katuwe Tent Rocks National Monument. Wow!
We had seen a picture and thought it was in Cappadocia, Turkey…but discovered it was in New Mexico. Bernie, Lionel and I walked for 45 minutes into the canyon, climbing up along narrow paths. The rock formations are spectacular and I loved the pine trees perched on the rocks along the trail.
It was so clear and crisp today, perfect for a nice walk in the park!
Thanks Bernie and Lynne for adding this extra side trip to our visit, it was amazing.
Fabulous guys! Reminds me of Bryce Canyon, those rock formations are so interesting, aren’t they?
