One of my favourite things is to paddle the kayaks up the lake and into Cathie Creek.

Earlier this year, after the fires had ravaged many parts of NSW, we made our way up the creek.

The lake was still closed to the ocean and so we were able to go further than usual, the reflections were beautiful. It is so tranquil, and even though we are not that far from civilization, it feels like a million miles away.
