Great Britain here we come!

I’ve waited over forty years to visit Britain. We were ready to go in 2020 and then the borders closed…(two weeks before that we had still thought we would get there). We know what happened after that!

We were the lucky ones, living in retirement on the coast. So to stay interested and have a goal, I started a virtual walk from Land’s End to John O Groats…encouraged by my friend Anne, a running machine! Well I’ve finished it! It took best part of a year. In the meantime we decided we couldn’t wait any longer, so today we’re off to London. Hooray. We’re spending two months in Scotland and England, going from top to bottom, can’t wait.
