St Margaret’s Hope to Thurso

We arrived way too early for the ferry, but I had wanted to take some pics of the Churchill Barriers and the village before we left.

We had a lovely hour on the ferry chatting with two ladies from Glasgow. They were surprised to discover how far it was from Sydney to Brisbane!

A short drive and we arrived in Thurso. We walked down to the sea and chuckled about the number of camper vans perched nearby, enjoying the Summer!

We stayed in the lovely Holborn Hotel and had a wander around the gardens. I had haggis and black pudding for breakfast. Can’t say either excited me, and I was glad to have the baked beans sauce to smother them.
