Yesterday I saw my fifth wonder of the natural world and it certainly didn’t disappoint! Lionel and I went on a tour with Ryan from Grand Canyon Adventures, and it was fantastic! Ryan was a fountain of knowledge about all manner of things and his enthusiasm for the region was infectious! We stopped at about seven vantage points and also walked along the rim to the village. It was spectacular, magnificent, etc etc…I will let the pictures tell the story!
We are now sitting at the Amtrak station in downtown Flagstaff, waiting for “The Southwest Chief” to take us back to California. Every state has been an experience, and the south – Texas, New Mexico and Arizona have been an amazing conclusion to our USA loop…but wait there’s still Halloween to come…not to mention some shopping!
The pics are a sight to behold I can’t imagine how grand and spectacular in actuality!
