We arrived here via two buses from Leon. The drive through the mountains was fabulous. Houses seemingly clinging to the side of the mountain, how did they get there? (not easy taking pics out of a speeding bus!)

We had to choose a different route, which of course was longer, but we had made plans to meet our friends, at 6pm and the buses/trains weren’t arriving until 8pm…too late!

What a great time we had with Karen and Chris. We met at a bar, had some wine and tapas, then walked to a very swish restaurant, Amaren for dinner. The specialty was meat! Plenty of it, you ordered by the kg. They even provided a little grill on the table so we could cook the meat a bit longer if we wanted to.

The following day we met up again at the Guggenheim Art Museum. Lionel bought our tickets and we were all seniors, so a big discount applied! Yay! More funds for tapas and wine.
